The Xperia 5 III is much better than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, having a 90.5 score against 80.1. These phones come with Android operating system, but the Xperia 5 III has the previous 11 version and Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has Android 8.0 Oreo. The Xperia 5 III is a newer cellphone, and it's also notably lighter and a lot thinner than the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro.

Sony Xperia 5 III features a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Sony Xperia 5 III also has more RAM. Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a little bit better screen than Sony Xperia 5 III, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better screen density and a slightly better resolution of 1440 x 2560px.
