The Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a global score of 80.1, which is a little bit better than the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact's 79 score. Both phones in our current comparison use the same Android 8.0 Oreo OS (Operating System). Galaxy XCover FieldPro's construction is a lot newer, but a lot heavier and somewhat thicker than the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact features a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, although it has a just a bit worse pixels quantity per inch in the display, a bit smaller display and a way worse 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with just a bit bigger memory for apps and games than Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy XCover FieldPro also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 512 GB.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact features just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy XCover FieldPro. Both have 4 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores. Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact takes greater videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a way smaller diafragm aperture, it also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor, a way better video definition and a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera.
Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a much better battery performance than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a 57% bigger battery capacity.
