The Galaxy XCover FieldPro has an overall score of 80.1, which is just a bit better than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium's score of 79.8. Although Galaxy XCover FieldPro is incredibly newer than the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, it is noticeably thicker and way heavier. Both of these phones include Android OS, but the Galaxy XCover FieldPro has the newer 8.0 Oreo version and Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1, so it provides lots of additional features.

The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because it has a lot better resolution of 3840 x 2160, a higher amount of pixels per screen inch and a bit larger display. Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a superior storage for applications and games than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity and an external memory card slot that allows up to 512 GB.

Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with just a little better hardware performance than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy XCover FieldPro also counts with more RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro features better battery performance than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.

The Xperia Z5 Premium shoots a lot better videos and photos than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for taking photographs in low light situations, it also counts with a much more megapixels camera in the back, a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a larger sensor.

Although Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xperia Z5 Premium, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xperia Z5 Premium. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy XCover FieldPro, else you can save some dollars and buy the Xperia Z5 Premium, letting go some features and specifications.
