Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro has a global score of 81, which is slightly better than the Huawei Mate 10's global score of 78.9. The Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro is a noticeably newer phone than Huawei Mate 10, although it's heavier and somewhat thicker. These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro has newer 11 version while Huawei Mate 10 has Android 10 version, giving you some nice extra features.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro and the Huawei Mate 10 have quite similar processing units, both of them have a 4 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit. Huawei Mate 10 features a brighter display than Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a bit better number of pixels in each inch in the screen.
The Galaxy XCover Pro has slightly more memory capacity for applications and games than Huawei Mate 10, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy XCover Pro also has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy XCover Pro has just a bit better battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 10, because it has 4050mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro counts with just a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for taking photographs in low light environments and a lot smaller sensor, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro also counts with a lot more megapixels back camera.
Although Galaxy XCover Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Huawei Mate 10, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei Mate 10. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the Huawei Mate 10, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
