Comparison review
The Galaxy A42 is a bit better than Galaxy XCover Pro, having an 87 score against 81. The Galaxy A42 design is newer, somewhat thinner and lighter than the Galaxy XCover Pro. These phones include the same Android 11 operating system. Galaxy XCover Pro has a much better display than Galaxy A42, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and a much higher pixels count per screen inch.
The Galaxy XCover Pro counts with just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy A42. They have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM memory. The Galaxy A42 shoots better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for shooting photographs in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a lot higher resolution back facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy A42 has a superior memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy XCover Pro, because it has 64 GB more internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 1000 GB. Galaxy A42 has greater battery lifetime than Galaxy XCover Pro, because it has a 23 percent larger battery capacity.
