The Galaxy XCover Pro is just a bit better than the Galaxy J7 Max, getting an 81 score against 76.1. Although Galaxy XCover Pro is a lot newer than Galaxy J7 Max, it is heavier and somewhat thicker. Both phones in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy XCover Pro has older 11 version while Galaxy J7 Max has Android 7.0 Nougat.
Galaxy XCover Pro has a little bit better screen than Galaxy J7 Max, because it has a quite bigger screen, a bit more pixels per inch of screen and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2340px. The Galaxy J7 Max and Galaxy XCover Pro have similar processors, they have the same RAM amount and 8 cpu cores.
Galaxy XCover Pro captures just a bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, the same aperture and the same video quality, the Galaxy XCover Pro also has a way higher resolution back facing camera. The Galaxy XCover Pro has a much better memory for apps and games than Galaxy J7 Max, because it has 32 GB more internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro counts with better battery performance than Galaxy J7 Max, because it has a 23% bigger battery capacity.
