The Galaxy M40 has a score of 85, which is a bit better than Galaxy XCover Pro's global score of 81. The Galaxy M40 is a a lot thinner and noticeably lighter device than the Galaxy XCover Pro, even when they were released only a couple of months apart. These phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy M40 has the older 10 version and Galaxy XCover Pro has Android 11 version.
The Galaxy XCover Pro has a bit better CPU than Galaxy M40, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro and Samsung Galaxy M40 both count with extremely similar screens, both have an equal 1080 x 2340px resolution, the same quantity of pixels in each inch in the screen and a same size screen.
The Galaxy M40 takes much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, and although they both have a same size aperture, the Galaxy M40 also has a way more mega pixels back-facing camera, a way bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
Galaxy M40 features a much greater storage for games and applications than Galaxy XCover Pro, and although they both have a SD card slot that allows up to 512 GB, the Galaxy M40 also has 64 GB more internal storage. The Galaxy XCover Pro counts with longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a 16 percent larger battery size.
