Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, getting a score of 83 against 81. Even though the Samsung Galaxy Note8 is incredibly older than Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, it's body is thinner and lighter. Both phones in this comparison review include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro has Android 11 version, so it provides lots of additional features.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has a larger amount of RAM. The Galaxy Note8 features a little sharper screen than Galaxy XCover Pro, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Galaxy Note8 also has a better resolution of 1440 x 2960px and more pixels per inch in the display.

Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro has just a bit bigger storage for games and applications than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The Galaxy Note8 counts with a camera that's very similar to the camera in Galaxy XCover Pro, because although the Galaxy Note8 has a back-facing camera with a way lower 12 megapixels resolution, and they both have a F1.7 diafragm aperture, it also counts with a way higher (4K) video resolution and a lot larger camera sensor which gives a way higher image and video quality.

Galaxy XCover Pro has better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has 4050mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.

The Galaxy Note8 costs a little more than Galaxy XCover Pro, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
