Galaxy XCover Pro has a global score of 81, which is slightly better than the Galaxy S7 edge's general score of 78.1. Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy XCover Pro has 11 version while Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo. The Galaxy XCover Pro is a a lot newer device than Galaxy S7 edge, although it is thicker and extremely heavier.

Galaxy XCover Pro features a little bit better processing power than Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Galaxy XCover Pro also has a higher number of faster cores. Galaxy S7 edge has a little sharper display than Galaxy XCover Pro, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560.

Samsung Galaxy S7 edge and Galaxy XCover Pro count with incredibly similar cameras, because although the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has a much worse resolution back facing camera, and they both have the same diafragm aperture, it also counts with a much better 3840x2160 video resolution and a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.

The Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro counts with just a bit better battery life than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a 13 percent greater battery capacity.

Although Galaxy XCover Pro is a better device, it costs more money than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your money.
