Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a general score of 82.2, which is a little bit better than Galaxy XCover Pro's 81 score. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium design is older, just a little heavier and thicker than the Galaxy XCover Pro. The Xperia XZ2 Premium features a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy XCover Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has more RAM memory.
Xperia XZ2 Premium features a much more vibrant display than Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher display density and a way higher resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels. The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a bit better camera than Galaxy XCover Pro, because although it has a camera with a much lower resolution and a smaller aperture which is not so good for taking photos and/or video in low light situations, it also counts with a way better 3840x2160 video definition and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor which offers a lot better image and video quality.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro counts with a slightly bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro has a little better battery duration than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 4050mAh battery size instead of 3540mAh.
Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy XCover Pro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy XCover Pro. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Galaxy XCover Pro, giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
