Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, with a global score of 81 against 77.5. Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro's construction is newer than Xiaomi Mi Max 2's, but it is a little bit heavier and a lot thicker. Galaxy XCover Pro features a little bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a little bit greater pixels number per inch of screen.
The Galaxy XCover Pro has a bit superior processor than Xiaomi Mi Max 2. Both have the same RAM memory amount and 8 processing cores. The Galaxy XCover Pro captures just a bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a much smaller back-facing camera sensor giving a much worse image quality, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy XCover Pro also counts with a much better resolution camera and a lot bigger aperture.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a bit more storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy XCover Pro, because although it has an external memory slot that allows up to 128 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with improved battery life than Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, because it has a 31 percent more battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Mi Max 2. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
