Comparison review
The Galaxy XCover Pro has a general score of 81, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's 79 general score. The Galaxy XCover Pro design is somewhat thicker and a little bit heavier than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. Both phones in this comparison review work with the same Android 11 OS, so you shouldn't perceive any differences regarding operating system features.
The Galaxy XCover Pro features a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a quite smaller display and a quite lower 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, it also counts with a quite greater screen pixel density. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S and Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro feature extremely similar processing units, both have a 4 GB RAM and 8 processing cores.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos is very similar to Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro's one, both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S takes much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy XCover Pro, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, it also counts with a way bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a lot more MP back facing camera and a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with improved battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, because it has a 24 percent greater battery capacity.
Although Galaxy XCover Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy XCover Pro, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, letting go some features and specifications.
