The Huawei Mate X has an overall score of 89.4, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3's overall score of 85.6. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate X has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 has Android 11 version, so it provides a couple nice extra features and optimized performance. Even though Huawei Mate X is better than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, it must be noted that it's also an older, incredibly heavier and much thicker phone.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 features a little bit better processing power than Huawei Mate X. Both have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core processor. Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Huawei Mate X feature really similar displays, because although the Huawei Mate X has a little less pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a larger screen and a higher 2200 x 2480 resolution.
Huawei Mate X has a superior camera than Galaxy Z Flip 3, and although they both have the same camera aperture, the Huawei Mate X also has a much better 40 mega-pixels resolution camera. Huawei Mate X has a much better storage for apps and games than Galaxy Z Flip 3, because it has 384 GB more internal storage.
Huawei Mate X features better battery lifetime than Galaxy Z Flip 3, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Huawei Mate X, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, giving up some specs and features.
