Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 has an overall score of 85.6, which is a little bit better than the Microsoft Surface Duo's 78.8 overall score. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 has the newer 11 version while Microsoft Surface Duo has Android 10 version, providing some extra features and optimized performance. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 design is newer and incredibly lighter than Microsoft Surface Duo's, although it is much thicker.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 features a little bit better looking display than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has a lot lower 1080 x 2636 pixels resolution and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit higher pixels number per screen inch. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Microsoft Surface Duo have extremely similar processors, and although the Microsoft Surface Duo has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Microsoft Surface Duo features as much storage to store more apps and games as the Galaxy Z Flip 3 one, both have equal internal memory capacity. Microsoft Surface Duo takes better photographs and videos than Galaxy Z Flip 3, although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for taking pictures and video in poorly lited environments and a worse resolution back camera.
Microsoft Surface Duo features a bit better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, because it has 3577mAh of battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Microsoft Surface Duo, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Microsoft Surface Duo. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Microsoft Surface Duo, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
