Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is much better than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, getting a score of 85.6 against 76.3. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 body has the same thickness than the Motorola Moto Z3 Play, but it is somewhat heavier. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 counts with just a little better performance than Moto Z3 Play, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 also has a higher amount of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 has a slightly better looking screen than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, because it has a quite bigger display, a little better screen pixels density and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2636. Motorola Moto Z3 Play has a greater camera than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, and although they both have a back-facing camera with a 12 mega-pixels, the Motorola Moto Z3 Play also has a larger diafragm aperture to capture better captures and videos in low light situations.
The Motorola Moto Z3 Play has much more memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 1,95 TB. Galaxy Z Flip 3 features a bit longer battery life than Moto Z3 Play, because it has a 10% greater battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Moto Z3 Play, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Moto Z3 Play. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, else you can save some dollars and buy the Moto Z3 Play, giving up some specifications.
