Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A40, getting an 85.6 score against 79.6. Although the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is much heavier than Samsung Galaxy A40, it's somewhat thinner and also noticeably newer. Both phones in our current comparison include the same Android 11 OS, so both of them should give the same operating system features.
Galaxy Z Flip 3 features a bit more vivid display than Galaxy A40, because although it has a just a little worse number of pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a little bit higher 1080 x 2636 pixels resolution and a little larger screen. Samsung Galaxy A40 counts with a bigger storage to install applications and games than Galaxy Z Flip 3, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
Galaxy Z Flip 3 features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A40, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 also has a greater amount of RAM. Galaxy A40 captures much better photos and videos than Galaxy Z Flip 3, because it has a bigger camera aperture to take better images and video in low-light environments and a back facing camera with a lot better 16 mega pixels resolution.
Galaxy Z Flip 3 has just a bit better battery duration than Galaxy A40, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity against 3100mAh.
