Galaxy Z Flip is slightly better than Galaxy Z Flip 3, with an 88.5 score against 85.6. Galaxy Z Flip's construction has the same weight than the Galaxy Z Flip 3, but it's just a little thicker. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Z Flip has the newer 12 version and Galaxy Z Flip 3 has Android 11 version, providing some nice extra features and improved performance.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip features a display that's very similar to Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3's display, both have a greater quantity of pixels per inch of display, a same size screen and the same 1080 x 2636px resolution. Galaxy Z Flip counts with just a bit better processing power than Galaxy Z Flip 3. Both of them have a Octa-Core processor and a 8 GB RAM memory.
The Galaxy Z Flip takes a lot better videos and photos than Galaxy Z Flip 3. They have a same size aperture and a camera with a 12 mega pixels resolution. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip counts with a very superior storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, because it has 256 GB internal storage.
Galaxy Z Flip's battery performance is just as good as the battery lifetime in Galaxy Z Flip 3.
Although Galaxy Z Flip is a better device, it costs more money than the Galaxy Z Flip 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Z Flip 3. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy Galaxy Z Flip 3, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
