Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 has a general score of 85.6, which is better than Xiaomi Mi Max 2's overall score of 77.5. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is a a lot newer phone, and it's also somewhat lighter and a little thinner than Xiaomi Mi Max 2. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 features a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has a little bigger screen, a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2636 pixels and a just a little more pixels per inch of screen.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a way bigger memory for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 128 GB. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 also has more RAM.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a much longer battery performance than Galaxy Z Flip 3, because it has a 61% larger battery capacity. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 takes a lot better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for taking photographs and/or video in poorly lited environments, they both have the same resolution back camera.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Mi Max 2. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, resigning a couple specs and features.
