Galaxy Z Flip 5G is much better than HTC One M9, having a overall score of 92.3 against 77.7. Galaxy Z Flip 5G's body is a lot newer and noticeably thinner, but also heavier than HTC One M9. Both phones in this review have Android operating system, but Galaxy Z Flip 5G has a more recent 11 version while HTC One M9 has Android 5.0 version, so it gives some additional features.
HTC One M9 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the HTC One M9 also counts with an extra graphics processing unit and a 64-bits processing unit. HTC One M9 has a brighter display than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G, because although it has a way smaller screen and a little worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, it also counts with a just a bit better number of pixels per inch of screen.
Galaxy Z Flip 5G counts with a much better storage capacity for applications and games than HTC One M9, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 224 GB more internal storage. Galaxy Z Flip 5G takes a little bit better videos and photos than HTC One M9, because although it has a smaller sensor capturing less light and washed colors, a worse 3840x2160 video quality and a back-facing camera with way less mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture to take better images and videos in poorly lited situations.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G has superior battery duration than HTC One M9, because it has a 16 percent bigger battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Z Flip 5G is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the HTC One M9. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Z Flip 5G, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the HTC One M9, resigning a couple features and specs.
