Comparison review
Galaxy Z Flip 5G has an overall score of 92.3, which is a little bit better than the Huawei P40's 86.4 global score. The Galaxy Z Flip 5G design is somewhat thinner but just a bit heavier than the Huawei P40, and both of them were released only a couple months apart. These devices use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Z Flip 5G has 11 version while Huawei P40 has Android 10, providing you a couple additional features and enhanced performance.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G features a little better performance than Huawei P40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G also has 2 GB more RAM memory. Huawei P40 has a screen that's very similar to Galaxy Z Flip 5G's screen, although the Huawei P40 has a little smaller display, a just a bit inferior pixel amount per inch in the screen and a little bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5G features a very superior storage for games and applications than Huawei P40, because it has more internal memory capacity. The Huawei P40 has a little longer battery performance than Galaxy Z Flip 5G, because it has a 15 percent bigger battery size. The Huawei P40 features a better camera than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for capturing pictures in low light situations, and they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P40 also counts with a lot larger back-facing camera sensor shooting lot higher quality videos and photos and a back camera with much more MP.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Huawei P40, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei P40. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G, otherwise you can save some money and get the Huawei P40, giving up some features and specs.
