Galaxy Z Flip 5G has a score of 92.3, which is a little bit better than LG G8 ThinQ's 84.3 general score. These phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Z Flip 5G has the previous 11 version while LG G8 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie version. Galaxy Z Flip 5G is a newer and thinner phone than LG G8 ThinQ, but it is just a bit heavier.
Galaxy Z Flip 5G counts with just a little better performance than LG G8 ThinQ, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G also has 2 GB more RAM. LG G8 ThinQ has a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 3120 pixels resolution and a greater pixels number per inch in the display.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5G has a slightly better camera than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for capturing photos in low-light situations, and they both have a back facing camera with a 12 megapixels resolution, the same 60 frames per second video frame rate and the same video quality, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality.
LG G8 ThinQ counts with a lot bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG G8 ThinQ counts with just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Z Flip 5G, because it has a 3500mAh battery size against 3300mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G8 ThinQ. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G, otherwise you can save some money and buy the LG G8 ThinQ, resigning some features and specifications.
