Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G is better than the LG G8X ThinQ, with a 92.3 score against 82.7. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G body is newer, somewhat thinner and just a little bit lighter than LG G8X ThinQ. These devices use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G has 11 version and LG G8X ThinQ has Android 10, so it counts with a couple additional features.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G has a bit sharper screen than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has a little bigger display, a bit higher 1080 x 2636 resolution and a bit more pixels per screen inch. The LG G8X ThinQ counts with a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G, because although it has only 128 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.

Although Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG G8X ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G8X ThinQ. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG G8X ThinQ, giving up some features and specs.
