Comparison review

Galaxy Z Flip 5G is better than LG V40 ThinQ, having a 92.3 score against 81.2. Both phones we are comparing here use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Z Flip 5G has the newer 11 version while LG V40 ThinQ has Android 10. The Galaxy Z Flip 5G construction is newer and a bit thinner than LG V40 ThinQ's, although it's just a little heavier.

LG V40 ThinQ has just a bit better display than Galaxy Z Flip 5G, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 3120 resolution and a better pixels number in each screen inch. Galaxy Z Flip 5G features a little bit better performance than LG V40 ThinQ, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G also has more RAM memory.

LG V40 ThinQ has a quite bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Z Flip 5G, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. The LG V40 ThinQ counts with a battery lifetime that is very similar to Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G's battery life.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5G and the LG V40 ThinQ both have quite similar cameras, because although the LG V40 ThinQ has a tinier sensor taking lower quality videos and photographs, and they both have a back-facing camera with a 12 MP, the same 60 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture.

Although Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG V40 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG V40 ThinQ. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the LG V40 ThinQ, giving up some specifications.
