Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G is much better than the Samsung Galaxy A31, having a 92.3 score against 81.3. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G's design is just a bit lighter and somewhat thinner than Samsung Galaxy A31, even though both were released with only 3 months difference. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G has a more recent 11 version and Samsung Galaxy A31 has Android 10, so it provides a couple additional features and performance improvements.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5G has just a bit better display than Galaxy A31, because it has a little greater number of pixels per inch of screen, a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2636 and a little bigger screen. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G counts with a greater memory for applications and games than Galaxy A31, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G features a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A31, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy A31 has a much longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
Galaxy A31 features just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for low-light photography and lower video frame rates, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Galaxy A31 also counts with a lot larger back camera sensor taking way better quality photographs and videos and a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera.
