Comparison review
Galaxy Z Flip 5G has a global score of 92.3, which is slightly better than the Xperia 5 III's global score of 90.5. Both of these devices include the same Android 11 OS (operating system). The Galaxy Z Flip 5G body is just a little heavier but somewhat thinner than Xperia 5 III, and they were only released with a few months difference.
Galaxy Z Flip 5G features just a little better hardware performance than Sony Xperia 5 III. Both have a Octa-Core processing unit and the same RAM memory amount. Sony Xperia 5 III has a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G, because although it has a bit smaller display and a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels, it also counts with a just a little higher pixel quantity per display inch.
The Sony Xperia 5 III has just a bit better camera than Galaxy Z Flip 5G, and although they both have a camera in the back with a 12 mega pixels and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Sony Xperia 5 III also has higher 120 fps video frame rate, a lot bigger sensor capturing way higher quality pictures and videos and a bigger aperture to capture better photography and video in low-light situations.
Xperia 5 III features a much better memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Z Flip 5G, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Xperia 5 III also has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB. Sony Xperia 5 III has improved battery life than Galaxy Z Flip 5G, because it has a 36 percent larger battery size.
