Comparison review
The Galaxy Z Flip has a general score of 88.5, which is a little bit better than the LG Velvet's 87.1 general score. The Galaxy Z Flip design is just a bit heavier but just a little bit thinner than the LG Velvet, and both were released only 3 months apart. The Galaxy Z Flip has a bit faster processing unit than LG Velvet, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Galaxy Z Flip also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
Galaxy Z Flip counts with a slightly better looking display than LG Velvet, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little higher 1080 x 2636 pixels resolution and a little bit better pixels density. The LG Velvet features a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has just 128 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports up to 1,95 TB.
The LG Velvet counts with improved battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity. LG Velvet features a much better camera than Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same aperture, the LG Velvet also counts with a way higher resolution back-facing camera and a way larger back-facing camera sensor capturing much higher quality photographs.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG Velvet, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG Velvet. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, otherwise you can save some money and buy the LG Velvet, resigning a couple specifications.
