Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has an overall score of 88.5, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A71's 87.5 general score. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has the newer 12 version and Samsung Galaxy A71 has Android 11 version. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip construction is just a bit heavier but just a little thinner than Samsung Galaxy A71, and they were only released with a couple months difference.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip features a bit sharper screen than Galaxy A71, and although they both have a same size display, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip also has a little bit greater pixels density and a quite better 1080 x 2636 resolution. The Galaxy A71 features a little bit more memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 512 GB.
Galaxy Z Flip counts with a bit better CPU than Galaxy A71, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Z Flip also has more RAM memory. Galaxy A71 counts with longer battery life than Galaxy Z Flip, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 3300mAh. The Galaxy A71 has a better camera than Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has worse video frame rates, and they both have the same video quality and the same camera aperture, the Galaxy A71 also counts with a much bigger back-facing camera sensor and a back camera with a way higher resolution.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy A71, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy A71. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy A71, resigning a couple specifications.
