Comparison review
Galaxy Fold has a score of 97.6, which is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip's score of 88.5. Both devices in this comparison review use Android operating system, but Galaxy Fold has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has Android 12. Even though Galaxy Fold and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip were released with only a couple of months difference, the Galaxy Fold body is much heavier but a bit thinner.
The Galaxy Z Flip has a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because although it has a bit smaller display and a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2636px, it also counts with a little bit greater amount of pixels per inch in the screen. The Galaxy Fold has a very superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Z Flip, because it has 256 GB more internal memory.
The Galaxy Fold has a processing unit that's just as good as the Galaxy Z Flip one, and although the Galaxy Fold has 4 GB more RAM, they both have 8 processing cores. The Samsung Galaxy Fold has improved battery duration than Galaxy Z Flip, because it has a 33 percent more battery size. Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Z Flip both feature really similar cameras, and although the Galaxy Fold has a bigger aperture for better low light images and video, they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the same resolution back facing camera, the same sensor size and the same video frame rates.
Samsung Galaxy Fold costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
