Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has an overall score of 88.5, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy M40's global score of 85. These phones use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has a newer 12 version while Galaxy M40 has Android 10 version, giving you some nice extra features and enhanced performance. Even though Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy M40 were only released with a couple of months difference, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip body is a little bit thinner but also just a bit heavier than Galaxy M40.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has just a bit better looking display than Galaxy M40, because it has a slightly better 1080 x 2636 resolution, a just a little better pixel density and a little bigger screen. The Galaxy M40 has a little bit better memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has only 128 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip features a bit better processing power than Galaxy M40, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip also has more RAM memory. Galaxy M40 has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Z Flip, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity. The Galaxy M40 captures clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has worse 30 frames per second video frame rates and a tinier back camera sensor taking worse quality photos and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Galaxy M40 also counts with a much higher resolution back facing camera and a bigger diafragm aperture.
