Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a score of 94.6, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip's 88.5 score. Both phones in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has the previous 11 version and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has Android 12. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 construction is just a little bit thinner but way heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, and they were released only a few months apart.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip features just a bit better display than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a bit smaller display and a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2636px, it also counts with a just a bit higher display density. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has more RAM.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy Z Flip, and although they both have the same resolution camera, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the same video frame rates and a F1.8 aperture, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a much bigger camera sensor shooting way higher quality videos and photographs.
Galaxy Z Fold 2's memory to install applications and games is just as good as Samsung Galaxy Z Flip's one, both have the same 256 GB internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has improved battery duration than Galaxy Z Flip, because it has a 36% larger battery size.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 costs more money than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
