Comparison review
Xperia 5 III is a little bit better than Galaxy Z Flip, with a score of 90.5 against 88.5. Both phones we are comparing here use Android OS, but Xperia 5 III has the previous 11 version and Galaxy Z Flip has Android 12 version. Although the Xperia 5 III is somewhat thicker than Galaxy Z Flip, it's a little bit lighter and newer.
The Sony Xperia 5 III features just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2520, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per display inch. The Xperia 5 III features a lot bigger storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Z Flip, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Xperia 5 III also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB.
Galaxy Z Flip counts with a little better performance than Xperia 5 III. Both have 8 cpu cores and the same RAM amount. The Xperia 5 III captures slightly better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a back facing camera with a 12 megapixels, the Xperia 5 III also has a much bigger sensor capturing way higher quality pictures, a bigger camera aperture to take better photos in low light situations and faster 120 frames per second video frame rates.
The Xperia 5 III features longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, because it has a 36% greater battery capacity.
