Comparison review
The Galaxy Z Flip is better than the Sony Xperia Z5, getting an 88.5 score against 77.6. These devices include Android operating system, but Galaxy Z Flip has newer 12 version while Sony Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1, counting with a lot of extra features and increased performance. Galaxy Z Flip's body is newer and just a bit thinner, but somewhat heavier than Sony Xperia Z5.
The Xperia Z5 counts with a bit better looking display than Galaxy Z Flip, although it has a quite lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a just a little worse screen density and a really smaller screen. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has a lot bigger storage to install games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
Galaxy Z Flip has a bit faster CPU than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, and they both have 8 processing cores, the Galaxy Z Flip also counts with more RAM memory. Galaxy Z Flip features just a bit better battery performance than Xperia Z5, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.
Sony Xperia Z5 takes slightly better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has worse video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same aperture, the Sony Xperia Z5 also counts with a lot more MP camera and a larger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Although Galaxy Z Flip is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xperia Z5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xperia Z5. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Xperia Z5, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
