Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has a score of 88.5, which is better than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium's 79.8 global score. Even though the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is just a little bit heavier than the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, it's a bit thinner and much newer. Both phones in our current comparison use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has newer 12 version and Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1 version.
Xperia Z5 Premium has a much more vibrant display than Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 3840 x 2160px and a much higher count of pixels per inch of display. The Galaxy Z Flip counts with a very superior memory to install applications and games than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
The Galaxy Z Flip features just a bit better hardware performance than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the Galaxy Z Flip also counts with more RAM. The Xperia Z5 Premium has a little better battery life than Galaxy Z Flip, because it has a 4 percent larger battery size.
Xperia Z5 Premium takes a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has lower video frame rates, and they both have a same size aperture and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a larger back camera sensor shooting higher quality videos and photos and a back facing camera with a way better resolution.
Although Galaxy Z Flip is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xperia Z5 Premium, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xperia Z5 Premium. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Z Flip, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Xperia Z5 Premium, giving up some specifications.
