The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a general score of 94.6, which is a little bit better than Apple iPhone 12's global score of 88.7. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has Android 11 operating system, while Apple iPhone 12 works with iOS 15.x operating system. Although Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Apple iPhone 12 were only released with a few months difference, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 construction is a little bit thinner but notably heavier.
The iPhone 12 has a little faster processor than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has an inferior number of 3100 MHz cores and 8 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with a 64-bits processor. IPhone 12 features a much better display than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a bit smaller display and a little lower resolution of 1170 x 2532, it also counts with a bit higher pixel density.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a much better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than iPhone 12, because it has more internal memory. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a very superior battery lifetime than iPhone 12, because it has a 60 percent bigger battery capacity. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Apple iPhone 12, although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for taking photographs and videos in poorly lited situations, they both have a same resolution back facing camera, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate.
Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Apple iPhone 12, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Apple iPhone 12. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Z Fold 2, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Apple iPhone 12, letting go a couple features and specs.
