Comparison review
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has an overall score of 94.6, which is just a bit better than the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max's 93.2 general score. Galaxy Z Fold 2 works with Android 11 OS, while Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max counts with iOS 15.x OS. Galaxy Z Fold 2's design is just a bit thinner but somewhat heavier than Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max, and both of them were released only a couple of months apart.
IPhone 12 Pro Max has a bit faster processor than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and a lower number of cores, it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit. IPhone 12 Pro Max features a sharper screen than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a little smaller display and a bit lower 1284 x 2778px resolution, it also counts with a bit higher pixel amount per inch in the screen.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a lot bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than iPhone 12 Pro Max, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy Z Fold 2 captures just a bit better photos and videos than iPhone 12 Pro Max, although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for low-light captures and video, they both have the same 60 fps video frame rates, the same video quality and a same resolution camera in the back.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has better battery performance than iPhone 12 Pro Max, because it has a 22% bigger battery size.
Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Z Fold 2, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max, giving up some specifications.
