Comparison review
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is better than Asus ZenFone 8, with a 94.6 score against 83. These phones use the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't perceive any difference in that aspect. Even though the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Asus ZenFone 8 were only released 8 months apart, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 body is notably heavier but also way thinner.
The Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a more vivid display than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a little bit lower 1080 x 2400 resolution and a really smaller display, it also counts with a little higher screen density. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a much bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has 256 GB internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a bit more powerful processor than Asus ZenFone 8, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a little better battery life than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has a 13% greater battery capacity.
The Asus ZenFone 8 takes greater photographs and videos than Galaxy Z Fold 2, and although they both have a same size aperture, the Asus ZenFone 8 also has a much better 7680x4320 video definition, a much more megapixels back-facing camera and a larger back camera sensor providing a higher image quality.
