Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is much better than Google Pixel 3 XL, having a global score of 94.6 against 80.7. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 design is newer and thinner, but also heavier than Google Pixel 3 XL. Google Pixel 3 XL counts with a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher quantity of pixels per inch of display and a bit higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a little better hardware performance than Google Pixel 3 XL, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a higher amount of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a bit better camera than Google Pixel 3 XL, because although it has a back-facing camera with a lower 12 mega pixels resolution and a lower (4K) video resolution, and they both have a same size camera aperture, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also counts with a way bigger sensor which provides a way better photo and video quality.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a superior storage for games and applications than Google Pixel 3 XL, because it has 192 GB more internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has greater battery lifetime than Google Pixel 3 XL, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity instead of 3430mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Google Pixel 3 XL, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 3 XL. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, otherwise you can save some money and get the Google Pixel 3 XL, letting go some specifications.
