The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a general score of 94.6, which is much better than the Google Pixel 4 XL's 82.9 overall score. Even though the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is incredibly heavier than the Google Pixel 4 XL, it's somewhat thinner and also newer. Google Pixel 4 XL counts with a little sharper display than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1440 x 3040 pixels and a better display pixels density.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Google Pixel 4 XL, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has 6 GB more RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a way bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has more internal memory capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with just a bit better camera than Google Pixel 4 XL, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a lower resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a much bigger sensor shooting much better quality videos and pictures.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has greater battery lifetime than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has a 22% bigger battery size.
Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Pixel 4 XL, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Pixel 4 XL. If you want to save some money, you can buy the Google Pixel 4 XL, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most with your savings.
