Comparison review
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is better than Huawei Mate 20, with a score of 94.6 against 79.5. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but Galaxy Z Fold 2 has the previous 11 version while Huawei Mate 20 has Android 9.0 Pie. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 design is newer and thinner than Huawei Mate 20's, but it's heavier.
The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a bit better display than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a little smaller screen and a much lower resolution of 1080 x 2244 pixels, it also counts with a little bit higher pixels count per screen inch. Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a lot bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Huawei Mate 20, because it has 256 GB internal memory.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a little bit better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has more RAM memory. Galaxy Z Fold 2 takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have the same resolution back-facing camera, a same size aperture and the same (4K) video quality, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has higher video frame rate and a much larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a little better battery performance than Huawei Mate 20, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Huawei Mate 20, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei Mate 20. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, otherwise you can save some money and get the Huawei Mate 20, giving up a couple features and specifications.
