Comparison review
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a global score of 94.6, which is slightly better than the Huawei P40's score of 86.4. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 design is heavier but thinner than the Huawei P40, and they were released with only a couple months difference. Both phones we compare here include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Z Fold 2 has the newer 11 version and Huawei P40 has Android 10.
Huawei P40 has a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a little smaller display, it also counts with a bit more pixels per screen inch. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Huawei P40, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a bit better processing power than Huawei P40, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has 6 GB more RAM. The Huawei P40 takes much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for shooting images and videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same 60 fps video frame rates, the Huawei P40 also counts with a back facing camera with way more MP and a much larger sensor taking much higher quality pictures.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with just a bit better battery lifetime than Huawei P40, because it has an 18 percent bigger battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei P40, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei P40. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Z Fold 2, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Huawei P40, letting go a couple specs and features.
