Comparison review

The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a global score of 94.6, which is way better than LG G5's 76.1 score. Even though the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is heavier than LG G5, it's just a little bit thinner and noticeably newer. Both of these phones include Android OS, but the Galaxy Z Fold 2 has the previous 11 version and LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a bit superior CPU than LG G5, because it has a larger number of cores (and faster) and 8 GB more RAM memory. LG G5 features a little sharper display than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a way smaller screen and a quite lower 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, it also counts with a higher display density.

The Galaxy Z Fold 2 shoots slightly better videos and photos than LG G5, because although it has a back camera with a lot lower resolution and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, and they both have a same size aperture, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also counts with a much larger sensor providing a lot higher image quality.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a bit more memory capacity for apps and games than LG G5, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a much better battery life than LG G5, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG G5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G5. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Z Fold 2, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the LG G5, giving up a couple specs and features.
