Comparison review

The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is much better than LG G8X ThinQ, getting a global score of 94.6 against 82.7. Even though the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is notably heavier than LG G8X ThinQ, it's somewhat thinner and also newer. Both devices in our current comparison work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Z Fold 2 has the newer 11 version and LG G8X ThinQ has Android 10, so it gives you some nice extra features.

LG G8X ThinQ counts with a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a way worse 1080 x 2340px resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a just a little better pixel amount per inch in the screen. The LG G8X ThinQ counts with a much greater storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has just 128 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB.

The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a bit better processing power than LG G8X ThinQ, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has more RAM. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 shoots slightly better videos and photos than LG G8X ThinQ, and although they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rate, the same aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a 12 megapixels resolution camera, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a way bigger sensor taking lot better quality videos and photographs.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a bit longer battery duration than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has a 13 percent larger battery size.

Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG G8X ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G8X ThinQ. If you want to save some dollars, you can get LG G8X ThinQ, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
