Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is just a bit better than the LG Velvet, with a 94.6 score against 87.1. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 construction is somewhat thinner but noticeably heavier than the LG Velvet, and both of them were released only 4 months apart. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a bit superior processing unit than LG Velvet, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has 6 GB more RAM memory.
The LG Velvet and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 feature similar screens, because although the LG Velvet has a little smaller display and a little bit worse 1080 x 2460 resolution, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per screen inch. The LG Velvet counts with a way bigger storage to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The LG Velvet features a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a smaller camera sensor capturing less light and washed colors and worse 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a same size diafragm aperture, the LG Velvet also counts with a camera with a much higher 48 megapixels resolution.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a bit better battery performance than LG Velvet, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 4300mAh.
Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG Velvet, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG Velvet. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get LG Velvet, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your money.
