Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a score of 94.6, which is much better than Samsung Galaxy A51's overall score of 85.5. Both phones in our current comparison include the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't perceive any differences regarding that. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 body is thinner but a lot heavier than Samsung Galaxy A51, and both were released only 9 months apart.
Samsung Galaxy A51 and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 have really similar screens, because although the Samsung Galaxy A51 has a quite smaller display and a quite lower 1080 x 2400 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit better screen pixel density. Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy A51, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has 8 GB more RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy A51 captures much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a tinier aperture, worse 30 frames per second video frame rate and a smaller camera sensor capturing less light and dull colors, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy A51 also counts with a back camera with a much higher 48 MP resolution.
The Galaxy A51 features a little bit more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has just 128 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a bit superior battery life than Galaxy A51, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy A51, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy A51. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Z Fold 2, else you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy A51, letting go a couple specifications.
