Comparison review
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A71, having a 94.6 score against 87.5. Even though Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Samsung Galaxy A71 were released only a couple months apart, Galaxy Z Fold 2's body is extremely heavier but also a little bit thinner than Samsung Galaxy A71. Both of these phones have the same Android 11 OS.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy A71, because although it has a just a bit lower pixels density, it also counts with a better resolution of 1768 x 2208px and a little bigger display. Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a bit better processor than Galaxy A71, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has more RAM memory.
Galaxy A71 features a little bit better memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy A71 has a better camera than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have a same size aperture and the same (4K) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also counts with a camera with way more mega pixels and a larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
The Samsung Galaxy A71's battery life is just as good as the Galaxy Z Fold 2 one.
Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy A71, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy A71. If you want to save some dollars, you can get the Galaxy A71, letting go a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your money.
