Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a global score of 94.6, which is much better than Samsung Galaxy M12's 80 score. Even though Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Samsung Galaxy M12 were released with only 6 months difference, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2's construction is a lot thinner but also a lot heavier than Samsung Galaxy M12. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a newer 11 version while Samsung Galaxy M12 has Android 10, giving you some nice extra features and improved performance.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a bit better processor than Galaxy M12, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a greater amount of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a better looking display than Samsung Galaxy M12, because it has a higher amount of pixels per screen inch, a much better 1768 x 2208 resolution and a larger screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features just a bit more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy M12, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy Z Fold 2 shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy M12, because although it has a camera with a lot worse resolution, it also counts with a larger aperture to capture better captures in poorly lited environments and a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
Galaxy M12 features superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
