Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a general score of 94.6, which is better than Galaxy M40's overall score of 85. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a newer 11 version while Galaxy M40 has Android 10. Although Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a lot heavier than Galaxy M40, it's thinner and newer.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a little better performance than Galaxy M40, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a larger amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy M40 features a screen that's just as good as Galaxy Z Fold 2's screen, because although the Samsung Galaxy M40 has a little bit smaller display and a lot worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, it also counts with a quite higher display density.
The Galaxy M40 has a slightly better storage to store more games and applications than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has just 128 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 512 GB. Galaxy Z Fold 2 features improved battery life than Galaxy M40, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 3500mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy M40 features a little bit better camera than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a way tinier sensor which provides a much worse image and video quality and worse 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also counts with a back facing camera with way more mega pixels and a bigger aperture.
