Comparison review
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a score of 94.6, which is much better than the Galaxy S6 Edge's 85.7 global score. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 body is way newer and just a little bit thinner, but also much heavier than Galaxy S6 Edge. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but the Galaxy Z Fold 2 has newer 11 version while Galaxy S6 Edge has Android 5.0, so it gives some additional features and some performance improvements.
Galaxy S6 Edge features a bit better performance than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has 9 GB lesser RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64-bit processing unit and a GPU. Galaxy S6 Edge has an incredibly better display than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a quite lower 2560 x 1440 resolution and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher pixel density.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 features much more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a much longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 73% more battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 captures greater pictures and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a back facing camera with a much worse resolution and a lower 3840x2160 video resolution, it also counts with a larger diafragm aperture to capture better captures and videos in low light environments and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a way higher image quality.
Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Z Fold 2, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, letting go a couple specifications.
