The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is better than Galaxy S7, with a global score of 94.6 against 79.5. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 design is incredibly newer and thinner than the Galaxy S7's, but it's also way heavier. Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a bit superior processor than Galaxy S7, because it has more RAM and a higher number of faster cores.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 features a better display than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a little bit lower 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, it also counts with a lot higher pixels density. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a way bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy S7, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a superior battery life than Galaxy S7, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh. Galaxy Z Fold 2 captures slightly better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for low light images and video, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same resolution camera, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also counts with faster video frame rates and a lot larger sensor shooting much higher quality videos and pictures.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S7. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Galaxy S7, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
