Comparison review
Galaxy Z Fold 2 is slightly better than the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, with a global score of 94.6 against 92.3. Even though Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Galaxy Z Flip 5G were only released 1 months apart, Galaxy Z Fold 2's construction is way heavier but a little thinner. Both devices in this comparison review include the same Android 11 operating system, so they should offer very similar OS features.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5G both feature similar processing units, and although the Galaxy Z Flip 5G has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Galaxy Z Flip 5G features a little bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2636 pixels, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per screen inch.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with just a bit better camera than Galaxy Z Flip 5G, and although they both have the same 60 fps video frame rate, the same diafragm aperture, the same 3840x2160 video resolution and a 12 mega-pixels resolution camera, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a much larger back camera sensor which provides a way higher image and video quality.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G's storage capacity for apps and games is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 one, they have the same 256 GB internal memory capacity. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has improved battery duration than Galaxy Z Flip 5G, because it has a 4500mAh battery size against 3300mAh.
Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy Z Flip 5G, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Z Flip 5G. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Galaxy Z Flip 5G, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
